Before you order
What am I actually getting?
A cable knit Christmas stocking, 8.5 by 16 inches, with a white fur cuff and a loop for hanging. The name is embroidered on the cuff in thread that matches the stocking.
What are the lettering choices?
Two:
- Script: a flowing, joined hand.
- Serif: upright capitals and small letters, like a book title.
Which colors are there?
Three stockings, each with its own thread color:
- Cream, with gold thread.
- Green, with green thread.
- Red, with red thread.
How long can the name be?
Up to 12 characters: letters, plus a space, hyphen or apostrophe between them. Pop Pop, Mary-Kate and O'Brien all fit.
Will it look exactly like the picture?
The picture is a preview of the embroidery. Stitched thread sits a little differently from a printed picture, and a screen shows color with light, so expect it close rather than identical.
Delivery
How long will it take?
Expect your stocking 5 to 12 business days after you order it.
What does shipping cost?
$4.99 flat per order, however many stockings you buy.
Where do you ship?
The United States only.
If something goes wrong
What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Email us within 30 days of delivery with a photograph and we will replace it. You do not have to send it back first.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
A stocking with a name on it cannot be resold, so a change of mind is not something we can take back.
Looking after it
How do I clean it?
Spot clean the knit with a damp cloth and let it dry flat. Keep it out of the washing machine, which is hard on the fur cuff and the embroidery.
How do I store it between Christmases?
Lay it flat in a dry box with the cuff unfolded, so the fur is not crushed for eleven months.
